So I can’t get over my love for classic utility like classic, casual looks, which is why I’m especially drawn to Coach’s Coach Molly bucket bag. So these are the two bucket bags at Coach Outlet. 22 has a molly bucket bag and just a normal molly bucket bag.
And I want to take you to the Coach store itself and take a detailed look at this Molly bucket bag collection. So let’s begin. I want to go over my top six pros and cons of the bucket bag from Coach Outlet if you’re thinking about adding this handbag to your collection.
Pros of the Coach Molly Bucket Bag
First up, is this size 22 coach outlet MOLLE bucket bag currently priced at $229. It is eight inches in length, eight and a half inches in height and four inches in width. It comes with two straps, which is a big pro because you can wear it as a crossbody with the detachable strap that has a 22-inch drop. So you can do it as a shoulder or cross body and also a detachable handle that has a six and three quarter inch drop.
I just think it’s a really cute petite bag. I love how versatile it is. You can wear it in many ways. I also like how the organization is built in, how there are three compartments inside with snap closures and a zip closure in the middle for added security. Love how there are so many different colors and prints and some of these bucket bag interior colors really pop in the interior lining. It’s just so beautiful. The side is interesting in the way they sew it together, but the bottom of this handbag doesn’t have feet. Overall, the handbag is quite structured and a bit stiffer than I thought it would be, so it’s not like a super soft material.
I love how it has added security with the zipper closure, and I think it’s perfect as an everyday bag. I think I get great value per outfit out of this bag, and it just stands on its own, which is an added bonus.
Cons of the Coach Molly Bucket Bag
In terms of the disadvantages of this handbag, I have heard that there are people who buy this bag with multiple replacements that need it, even with occasional use after the first few months. So if you want to buy this handbag then you should take care of these things.
People reported that this particular bag had issues with the corners indicating that it had been used for less than two weeks. For some of the people who bought this bag, the stitching on the handle actually came apart easily. So something to see. The magnetic piece that holds the purse closed sometimes falls off and the stitching may not even hold the handle. The threads sort of come off and break. Given the quality issues I’ve been hearing about with some of the Coach Outlet bags, I’m a little concerned. I hope it’s just a one-off, but everyone needs to be aware.
Another disadvantage of a handbag is its capacity. It doesn’t actually take as much as it looks. I think it’s beautiful with an inner pop of color.

It’s the little details that I really like how they think about the interior color combination and how it matches the exterior color combo of the bag. The Molly Tote is currently on sale for $229. But going back and looking at the Coach Molly bucket bag, you can see here at the store, there’s actually quite a bit of eye candy. But I must say that the bucket bag is what I gravitate towards.

You can see that there are two sizes available. The new one is a 22 priced at $229. And surprisingly, the larger size is priced at the same price, $229 for the regular bucket bag as well. The regular bucket bag dimensions here are 11 inches by 11 and a half inches high and three-quarter inches wide. Plus a top handle, 10-inch drop, plus a detachable strap with a 20-and-a-half-inch drop that you can use for shoulder and crossbody.
Design and Seasonal Versatility
It’s so cute here. I love the combination which is great for summer and winter. But look at that pretty pink inner lining. I think it’s absolutely beautiful. I know some of you don’t have a Coach outlet near you, so hopefully these articles will be helpful for you to see how some of these outlet bags look in person, Because of course you can see it online, but maybe a completely different sound when you see it in the store. So some mini bags cost the same if not more than the normal size.

So Molly Bucket Bag 22 has many different colors. When you see a bag come out with many different color choices, you know the handbag is popular or they wouldn’t be coming out and putting out all those color combos.
Packing and Capacity
So here’s what it looks like when it’s fully packed. I think it’s like overstuffing your bag, but it shows you that, like a small umbrella, your sunglasses fit. But here’s what it looks like without all the stuff inside. You can see that the middle compartment limits the capacity because it has an additional organization. But the Molly Bucket Bag 22 looks a little better proportionally if you wear it as a crossbody.
Magnetic Closure and Size Differences
I love how they have a magnetic closure so it’s not like a big holey hole. And for comparison, there is a pretty big difference between big and small. I think the larger one would look great if you wore it as a shoulder bag as opposed to crossbody.

So here you can see what it looks like when it’s all packed up. Definitely feel like it’s a lot to pack a bag like you definitely don’t want to overload your handbag like that, but as you can see here, it’s huge if you’re a person like that. Which carry a little more when you’re going out. But as a shoulder bag, I think it’s absolutely gorgeous. Now, I also want to show you the Molly Tote 25. You can see it costs $229, it’s like a crossbody or shoulder strap as well as a strap that adjusts for the shoulder. I think this is a really cute handbag. If you are looking for something that has a slightly larger opening. So you can see on the model itself, it looks like this. So if you’re looking for something with a larger opening, I think a tote is a great option.
Bucket Bag Opening Issues
One drawback to bucket bags that I read about in the 22nd Molly bucket bag is that the opening is too narrow. So it would have been nice if it was a bit wider, especially with the middle compartment being hard to get to.
Conclusion
So what’s my bottom line for this molly bucket bag? I think it’s absolutely beautiful. This is a piece I’ve been looking at all year. I think it’s a very timeless design, if you’re looking for something small to medium that’s not too bulky but can hold your phone and wallet. But if you like the option of using it as a shoulder bag and you like something with compartments, I’d go for the regular molly bucket size. Overall, I’m still a little worried about some of the quality issues I’ve been reading about with coach outlet handbags, but I guess time will tell how it holds up over time. .
