Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Gear Pro. Everyone is in a frenzy of excitement at the HQ. Today, we finally have the long awaited X2s in stock. We can now introduce the new version 2 x2. So in this article, I will explain all the differences which are present between my old x2 and our new one. Lets go for the review.
Updated Torso height
Increased height, which is now even more standard size. Therefore, right off the bat here, folks, you can see that we have now added two inches for the torso to the X2 to fit in more sizes. We still have the air flow mesh vent system here. Which is placed here to maintain airflow between pack and back so you are not drenched out here sweating on the pack. We will further notice that new standard and more durable YKK zippers have replaced the standard zippers on your side pockets here.
Expanded Hood Pocket
And now another big key difference that i really like is this hood pocket. We’ve also enlarged the size of the hood pocket on it to have more volume and still have great access to the back here. Ok, so you can throw in quite a few quick access items.
Floating top lid
Another important difference is that there is now a floating top lid and so you can attach those ladder locks here to loosen or tighten the frame if you have some long items protruding from the main pack. This gives you the ability to interject something here. The center here, like a quarter shank, can be a tripod in your middle box. Either way, your blade will now be in a position to crank out of the way.
Two-Tone Stretch Pocket
Moving to the front of the pack, we have a two tone stretch pocket on the front for a few other quick access items. We do have this strap right here however which allows you to have one this stretch pocket up whilst also another way to keep this bungee cinch cord down over the main compartment. Just 2 completely different things that can be done with this buckle.
Front Side Zipper Another thing we’ve added, instead of just top access to your main compartment, we’ve also added this front side zipper for front access to your main compartment. This will allow you to get to the lower items you have a little quicker.
Stretch Pocket and Side Pouches We have a stretch pocket on the inside, which is attached to both of your wings. And then with our side pouches out here, the half is a stretch material. So you can fit a tripod head in here, big trekking pole handles, big Nalgene bottles, what have you, still with a cinch cord to secure it.
Centralized Hydration Carry And then finally, what we’ve changed is that instead of carrying your hydration in these side wings, now you’re going to have a sleeve here in the back of the main compartment, so you have your heavy There will be a more centralized carry of weight. water bladder. Here are the ports on the side corners of your main compartment.

Scabbard Attachment
Finally guys, a lot of people ask if you can add a scabbard to the X2. You can, just like of old. We have molly webbing on the side of the main compartment where you can molly over our standard bolt action scabbard if you want to carry the rifle that way.
