Introduction

What’s up ladies and gentlemen and welcome to this POV review of AutoTopNL. My name is Max and today we are checking out this amazing BMW M5 CS by G-Power.

Performance Upgrades

We have an ECU remap, we have turbos, downpipes and an exhaust and a total of 820 horsepower and 1000 Newton meters of torque. So that’s pretty crazy.

Exterior Features

Now let’s take a look at these wheels. These 20-inch lightweight wheels in gold bronze with red calipers feature Pirelli p0 rubber and ceramic brakes. Now, they used to come with gold, but on cs you can choose between red or gold. And I love the red color because it contrasts well with the gold wheels. We have a gold bronze accent on the side here and of course the carbon marys carbon roof. And then at the rear, a more aggressive spoiler in carbon fiber. Nice G-Power badge and M5 CS badge there. And the exhaust, very nice carbon diffuser as well for the CS. It’s a nice rear end. It just, it looks very aggressive, CS. So much, I don’t know, the changes aren’t that big, but they seem to have cut a lot of weight off the car. You know, before you know they’ve actually done it, you can look at the car and it looks lighter than before. It feels like it. G Power badge. Oh, these M5s always, the radiators blow so long. Anyway, there’s the carbon engine cover. An M5 CS badge right there. All carbon. Super beautiful! By the way this is Brandt Hatch Grey. And two more color options were available. You can freeze Brandt Hatch, so it’s a matte gray, single color, and you have a frozen dark green, which is great too.

Interior Highlights

Well interior wise we got the bucket seats from the M3, the carbon fiber backed buckets are great. And then we have two more bucket seats in the back, which is great. There is also a CS logo at the center. And lots of Alcantara, like the beautiful steering wheel. And the carbon inlay here with the CS logo. Yes, the interior is also very good. Now, Mr. McWhart’s face isn’t here, so we can wrap up a little bit. So we can close the valves. Close the valves. It is closed. Very decent. Valves open. Very good dark sound.

Driving Modes and Experience

Now, G Power, 820 horsepower, 1000 Nm of torque. I got the car in DSC off, two wheel drive mode. Which is, you can check it out here, M1. So you can see I’ve put everything into Sport Plus. And then steering in comfort because it’s light. I like it better for honing. DSC off and two-wheel drive. And my M2 is a four-wheel drive sport. Let’s go for the M1. Because I want to show you what this thing can do. This is complete nonsense. So second gear it doesn’t need a lot of throttle input to slide the horses, I wouldn’t go full throttle but this car is very happy to spin its rear wheels and it’s very easy to do both in that way.

It really is. It’s easy to get the wheels spinning but it’s also really easy to control because the M5 CS is such a quirky gem of a vehicle and the chassis is so amazing you won’t, like I said, you won’t think what the difference is. . So big between a regular car and the M5 CS, but it is. And then to get that much power, it really feels like you need the M5 CS to control it properly. It’s just, if I move my big toe, the back spin. 4th gear 100 kmph. The rear wheels go. This is absolutely insane. They go there. Every time you hit the throttle, they roll back. This is incredible. Now, of course, it’s a lot of fun. But if you want to be fast then you need four wheel drive sport.

So let’s pull a little bit that’s pretty quick now stock does it three seconds, but that’s with launch control of course. With that amount of power, I’m not going to do launch control. 1000 Nm on this gearbox is not going to go down well. This is going to end with me in tears, maybe, so. Oh, but it’s too early. The exhaust also sounds great. I really like the sound. It’s like… you can hear the turbo, you can still hear the V8, you’ve got a bit of a boost up top. Definitely an improvement. Well, sound isn’t that hard to improve, but…yeah. Yes, this car likes to go for it.

Final Impressions

So let’s put it in drive. In the most aggressive setting. And pray for a break. Not that you need that much space in this car, but now, finally, we have a little space and oh man it gets there so quickly. Unfortunately, today is Friday and that usually means a lot of traffic. And traffic that you wouldn’t normally get here. A lot of caravans and campers and things like that are very careful, but the way it drives like a 250 is incredible. So, just put your foot down and it’s done. The gearbox has also definitely been tweaked as the shifts are much quicker and generally a bit harder than it should be.

Tire pressure management, but the tire pressure is all right, so now hopefully if we’re lucky we have some space here we do so here at BMW Martijn is on the right and that’s the 316! The G-Power M5 CS has something similar. A strange beast of a car! Huzur Molly! This thing is fast as hell! O man! Now, thank you very much for allowing us to run your M5 CS. It is an honor and a pleasure for me. You have a beast of a car sir. Great! This thing is incredible. M5 CS, I already loved it. And then with 820 horsepower and 1000 Newton meters of torque. It’s a beast.
