Unboxing and Initial Thoughts
It’s been here for like I’d say three or four days now. I didn’t even get a chance because I wasn’t feeling well because I had an allergic skin reaction to poison ivy so when we’re unboxing these bags, I’m going to try my best not to show. But I think it’s still going to show because, you know, it’s all on my arms. But here this left hand is worse than my right hand.
Skin Reaction Update
But I’m going to show you some skin reactions from poison ivy. This one, I still have here. And I still have some here. But I’d say it’s getting better now. Finally, I got my medicine yesterday after waiting two days because it was out of stock. So I’m very happy that I already have it. This part is a little rough. So I’m going to try to hide it now because I don’t want this content to look like how do you say it? Scary movie stuff. anyway.
Unboxing the Claire Coach Bags
So let’s get started with the unboxing! As you guys saw on the back of some of the contents, I actually got these two bags here so I got them both in different sizes.
Comparison of the Two Bags
I got the Clear Coach Clear bag here and I also got the Coach Mini Clear here. While I was looking at these two online, I couldn’t decide which size I should go for. I’ve already seen a lot of reviews regarding these two bags, but I still can’t find the right size for it. Because some said it’s perfect, some said it’s okay, some said it’s a little small, some said it’s too big. So what I did was I got them in both sizes so I could decide which one to go for.
Details of the Claire Coach Bag
There are two sizes. For that, I got it in classic black. It still has the Coach logos, but it’s minimal as you guys can see it only has the Coach monogram on the side. On the back, it has a back pocket right here. It also has this tag right here and it comes with gold hardware, which I really like. On the inside, it is made of suede. So it looks like this from the inside. What I really like about this bag is that it’s already kind of organized because it has accordion style sides.
Functionality of the Claire Coach Bag
You don’t need to add more inserts as it is already organized enough for you. For the size of this bag, I’m going to put it in the description below so you guys, or I can put it on the screen so you guys know what size this clear crossbody bag is.
Details of the Mini Claire Coach Bag
The next item I’m going to show you is the second bag right here. So this is the mini clear version, like the first bag. While I’m at it, we’re also going to do a comparison. I also got it in gold hardware and I got it in two colors. I really, really like the color of this bag. You can wear it in spring, summer, all four seasons. You can actually wear the color of this bag. Anyway, he has this beautiful coach logo right here. It also has a bucket and a tag on it. On the inside, it looks a lot like the first bag I showed you, but it’s a much smaller one and doesn’t have a monogram or anything. It’s just plain leather. Like I said, no monogram.
Functionality of the Mini Claire Coach Bag
On the inside, it came with a beautiful light-colored suede. And it’s also an accordion style as you guys can see here. On the inside, just like I said on the first bag, you don’t need an insert for this bag because it’s already set up for you. It also has this lovely zipper compartment so you can put things in here like if you have cash, you can put it in here or even some loose coins. This is the best area to store your belongings.
Side-by-Side Comparison
Here are the two bags again. I’m going to show them to you on the screen. As you guys can see, there is a big difference between the two. For the size of this bag, I’m also going to put it on the screen so you guys know the size of this bag. So, it looks like a bag as you guys can see side by side. And then I’ll put it up front as well so you guys can see the difference. So here it is. There is a difference. Like I said, I’d say it’s like a half-inch difference. And then this black one is a little bit longer. This is what it looks like from the side and this is what it looks like from the back. And then for the bottom, this is what the bottom looks like. So you guys can see the difference between these two bags.
Chain Comparison
Chain-wise, I see a big difference between these two chains. So on this, on the Maniclar, I think the chain is a little bit blurry on it. As you guys can see here, his chain is a little lighter. And what I noticed is that I feel like this series is on the cheap side. And then right here on this chain, it’s more gold. It’s not that matte and then it’s a little heavier than this bag here. Let me see if I can compare the series side by side. Just wait a second. So you guys can see the chains better here.
The series looks like this as you guys can see. hold on. So this series looks like this. To my right is a mini clear chain and to my left is a clear, larger size. So that’s the difference between the two. Like I said, it’s more on the meat side. And at the bottom it is on the more shiny side. And I really love it. It is light and feels like a cheap type of chain. And it’s a little heavy on the bottom right. I mean, not that heavy but if I compare it to the one above, it’s a bit heavier and has a bit of weight on it. So, this is what these two bags look like. If you ask me, I really like both bags. From what I’ve seen in terms of leather, black is softer.
Leather Quality and Feel
I really, really love it. For some reason, it’s really soft. I like the feel of it. On that, what I noticed with it is that it’s kind of more structured and more rigid, especially on this side here. This one… the leather on it, it’s a little bit more of a type, it has a super shine. If I compare it to this one it looks more plasticy but right now if you were to ask me which bag I’m going to get in terms of leather I’d probably go for it. For this it is due to the softness of the leather. Because this one, I feel like it’s tighter, especially on the bottom part here, it’s tighter and it’s more structured. I don’t know why, but when I was looking at it on the website too, it was almost the same. But personally, like I said, again, and I’m repeating myself again, it’s more structured than that.
Bag Inspirations
Okay, so these two bags here are actually an inspiration bag for YSL um, I forgot the name of the bag, but I’m going to put a picture on the screen so you guys know which YSL bag I’m talking about. doing . So this is an inspired bag for her. And also, it’s also an inspiration bag for Hermès Constants. I’m also going to put a picture on the screen so you guys know which bag I’m talking about. So these two are a really great alternative to these two high-end luxury brands if you guys want to double down a bit on these two beautiful bags here.
Comparing Bag Capacities
Okay, so the next thing we’re going to do is we’re going to fill these two bags right here so that we guys can see what the difference is between them. These two bags, as you guys can already see from the size, are a bit bigger than each other. So maybe in terms of potential, it would be great. So let me put one thing in here. Okay, so I have a few things here that I usually carry on a daily basis. So we’re going to try and put everything in and see what’s going to fit on that big size.
So, here’s the first item. Okay, wait, let me remove it first so I can have my phone. It’s a bit closer to my Samsung S21 Ultra. So, there is a point of difference between this phone and my phone which I am using now. So, I can definitely put this bag right here right in front. I have my compact purse, so I can put it in there. Um, I have my car keys, which I’ll keep here. Um, so, um, I take Baby White, so it fits. is well. And then I have my bag right here. This is Nolaila 15. Let’s try removing it and see if it fits here perfectly. Actually, it fits there. And now let’s see if this bag is going to close. Actually, it’s not closing yet because this bag is too big here. So let me get some essentials out of here.
So I’m going to take two of that, my lotion, my lip balm, this here, and then maybe this. So let me just get this out of the way and let’s put everything behind us. So this, too, I’m going to pocket right here. Okay fine. Mirror. My handbag. Hangar. And I think we can put it in there and see if it’s going to fit so it looks like a bag. And yes, it closes well which I really like it well packed. I didn’t put anything on the back, but actually you could put something here too. So this is what it looks like when fully packed. As you guys can see on the side, it’s already stretched.
Transferring Contents to the Smaller Bag
And now what we’re going to do is we’re just going to move everything that we’ve put into this mini player here. So let’s go. Okay, so that’s what it looks like when the bag is packed. So as you guys can see here, it’s already spread um I had a hard time closing it, especially if you tie it back to the edge. So, I wouldn’t really recommend it. I have already tested my Samsung S21 Ultra here. It actually fits, but the problem is, as you guys can see here, it’s kind of stretching the leather on the side, which I don’t really like on a bag, because I don’t want my bag , specifically to spread letters like this. So, the stuff that didn’t fit in that bag, um, here’s my mirror.
So, it’s a mirror. My hanger is right here. Actually, you can still keep it here. But like I said, I don’t want to overdo it. So, I have to leave it behind. My compact burn wallet doesn’t fit here either. So, I had to put together a different kind of wallet. Baby wipes don’t fit and inside too. So what I’ve put here is I’ve put my card wallet here. So if you guys are going to get a mini wallet then I would suggest you guys to change your wallet to a smaller size. Love this card holder here. So looks like a bag. I still have the phone. I have lotion. I also have the card keys. I have this, um, set cover protector and I also have my lip balm right here. If I remove all the stuff on it and turn it into this purse, is it really full? And that’s, the problem is, it’s not going to stop because, um, like I said, it’s already stretched. But, yeah, wait. I’m just fine, so it closes, but you have to pull the flap all the way.
Closure Issues
So I hope that if you walk on it, I’m not sure, but I feel like, if this bag is like, um, fully packed, I feel like when you walk, this flap Right here, it will open by itself. Um, I’ve heard, um, from, some people who own this bag that they’re having some trouble with the closure. Um especially when it’s completely, when it’s completely packed it’s fine but it’s not. “It’s hard to find when you close it,” he said. So what they usually do is they have to look it up and pull the flap down and then close it. So that’s one of the problems they have with this bag.
Personal Recommendation
Now we move on to mood shots. But if you’re going to ask me which one should I go for, if I go with the mini oh mini clear or the clear one, would I suggest that I declare the size because it’s really, capacity-wise, up there. A victory in comparison. But if you guys are into money bags like me, it’s really cool with you guys. This one, you can use it for girls night out for a date night for quick errands and all the things I recommend it for. But the only thing with it is that it is too small. So you have to downsize everything, including your wallet. But you don’t have to reduce the size of your wallet on it.
Another thing is if my phone fits perfectly in here, which is really nice which is a plus for me because it doesn’t stretch my bag compared to this, your phone still fits. Here, like I said, I’m using the Samsung S21 Ultra. It fits here but the only downside is that it stretches my skin and when I use this bag. And then in terms of leather with this bag I still prefer leather over this one. This is because the leather on it is softer and has a texture, but it’s not as hard compared to this bag. On the flip side, it’s really tough. I don’t know why and then chain-wise for that I much, uh, prefer China over that because it seems a little bit cheaper.
Conclusion
So there you go, folks. These are two bags. So I got this bag from Coach Outlet. Um, I got this one, um, last, um, Memorial Day. And, oh, this is the first time I’ve ever unboxed it. And this is my honest review. But like I said, it’s up to you guys which one you prefer. But for me, I’d go for it pretty much. This is due to the ability to compete.
