Comprehensive Nike Inflict 3 Wrestling Shoes Review Fit, Look, Grip, Flexibility & Durability Rated

Introduction

Today I am reviewing the Nike Inflict 3s. I have been wrestling for 16 years and I have never bought these shoes before. I don’t know how I made it this long without buying them because it’s a beautiful shoe, looks good, but here we are today. So I’m going to categorize this into five different categories and give each category a 10 to one.

Fit

Now for fit, I usually wear a 12. I bought a 12 and a half, a half size bigger because I’m not competing. So I prefer to loosen my shoes a bit. If I was going to compete, I would want my shoe to be a little stiffer. But for me, it’s a great fit. A lot of shoes I’ve bought in the past were too narrow or tight, like around the toes and top of the foot when you first buy them. But it was a great fit from the start. So I’m giving it a 7.5 out of 10 for fit.

Look

Now, visually, I think it’s a nice clean look. I like all black as opposed to black with white soles. And I also think its overall look is pretty solid. Although most wrestling shoes now look pretty much the same. I mean, the look of the shoe is pretty much the same, but it’s all black and the grip is a little different. But I like the look of it. So I give it eight out of 10 plus five. We have custom iron shoelaces on it. So that’s at least like a bonus point there.

Grip

Now the grip. This is where I have the biggest problem with this shoe. For two reasons. One, the grip is not very deep. So if you compare these two shoes, the grip here is much tighter. It’s not an overall slippery shoe, but the grooves aren’t very deep. So when you go to shoot, it doesn’t bite into the mat as hard. Another thing I don’t like is that there is no side grip on the shoe. So if you look here, there are side grips all around. So when you’re driving with your foot or the side of your foot, it’s going to cut into the mat. You’re going to get a good grip with it. You will get almost no grip. It’s very, very slippery on one side. So for someone who likes to shoot a lot, at least, when I was competing, I wanted a toe and ankle grip so I could put more emphasis on my shots. And for me, when I’m defending, if I’m trying to attack again, it’s going to allow me to attack again faster. But on the spread itself, it feels good to slide. So I think that’s a big priority for me. I like the grip. You may not like the grip. Either one is fine, but overall for me, I’m going to give it a five out of 10 because I don’t think the grip is that good.

Flexibility

Now flexibility. So a flexible shoe usually has a separate sole. So there are two different parts. If you can see here there is like a top grip and a bottom grip as there is a long piece. Now with this shoe, it has some flexibility, but it takes more effort to actually bend it. In comparison, this shoe, you could almost roll it into a little burrito or taco. You can bend it pretty good and it bounces back. So I think the flex on these shoes is pretty solid. But it is not the most flexible. Some have a thin base, like a thin sole, especially in the center. And you can literally roll them up tight. But… depending on what you’re looking for, you might not want a lot of flexibility. If you have problems with your feet, you need a sturdy shoe. But for me, I love a flexible shoe, so I’m giving it an 8 out of 10.

Durability

Now, for durability, since I’ve only had them for half a month, I can’t really give a completely honest review of how they work. I wonder how long they will last. I know a lot of people who have bought these shoes and have really had no problems with them. So I think they will last a long time but I wouldn’t really rate it because I haven’t had them long enough. But if you have these shoes and you think they last a long time, let me know in the comments to rate them from one to ten because they last a long time because they don’t last long. are

Conclusion

With that, fit, shape, grip, flexibility, overall, we get 28.5 out of 40, which is 71 out of 100. I love the look of the shoe. I think it fits well. Flexibility is good. But for me the grip is the main reason I don’t think I’ll get these shoes again. And I don’t think I would recommend getting them as a main pair of shoes for competition. But if you don’t want grip on the side, this might be the perfect shoe for you. So 71 out of 100 overall. Let me know if you agree. If you disagree, let me know what you think you would give them.
